Last night, we watched our newly downloaded Hong Kong drama till 2am. We were both super tired, knock off immediately once we laid on our bed. This morning, we were woken up by a phone call from the car workshop. Argh...Argh!Damn irritated. Tried to turn it off... but he called the 2nd time. I've got no other choice but to answer it and passed it to Hubby. After that, we tried to get back to sleep again, but it was really hard. In the end, hubby & I decided to wake up to prepare breakfast as we were kinda hungry le.
As we were having our breakfast, hubby was surfing the internet. He came across an online coupon offer for opening up a Chase Business checking account. The offer was to deposit an amount of $500 or more into the business checking account and able to get $100 cash back. Unbelievable good deals! We printed the coupon and headed to Chase bank to check this out!!!
The banker was really nice... she explained in details on what the offer was about. We just need to deposit $500 into the account, maintain it for 90days and by the 10th working day Chase will deposit $100 bucks into our account. There were no gimmicks at all. At the end of 90days, u can choose to continue / close the account. If u choose to maintain the account, you need to have 5 transactions per month or maintain $5k in the account, if not a monthly fee will be charged. We signed up immediately. What about you? Don't wait anymore... this is a kinda good deal! Offer ends at 17 October 2009!!!
After that, we went shopping at Grapevine with YY. Got a coupon (expiring today) from Victoria Secret's - able to get a pink bling bling t-shirt @ $5 (original $29.50) with any pink purchase. The only sizes left were S,M & L, luckily the salesperson managed to find the last piece XS for me. I grabbed the cheapest item in the store - a lollipop Margarita flavour @ $1.50. In the end, I just paid $7.04 (inclusive of tax) for a t-shirt and a lollipop. Good deal!
I also help my sis's friend to buy shower gels and lotions from bath & body works. I have already packed them nicely into the post office boxes, will pass it to Wei qiang to bring back home once he is back from road trip!
As for our dinner, at first hubby and I decided to have yesterday's leftover Bak Kut Teh but we were super hungry le cos we did not have our lunch. So, we decided to have it at Chilli's instead, hubby and I had the 3 course meal for $20 and yy had baby rib. As we were from the military, we were given 25% off.
After dinner, hubby and yy took an hour rest and headed to the gym again!
Now is already 1am. Going to dreamland now. Will have to wake up @ 5.45am to prepare breakfast for hubby. He needs to reach the workplace by 7am to do up his reports.
