Xavier's 1st Scooter Experience

19 January 2014 

Brought Xavier for a haircut at Pro Salon after his hair was once again
ruin by his "Bu Si Xing" papa
Luckily, the hairdresser was able to salvage it and he looked so much better now 

papa took his super cute sleeping pose when he was drooling! LOL!

After a short nap in the car, we had some fun time at Toysrus 

Spotted a motorized scooter on display..

Xavier tried and did not want to let go for it!

He keep asking "Papa, push please"

Almost forgotten, I bought a radio flyer scooter at a super good deal sometime back 
So, we took it out and let him try
I spent a few minutes showing him how to push off with his foot and then he was off
I was shocked how quickly he got it
Time to get him a helmet!!!

27 Months old Updates

 I was busy and tired recently so I guess I missed Xavier's 27 months old updates but I think is better to start late than never. Actually, there is not much difference just a bit more achievements in terms of speech development. 

Height: 

Last time I measured, he was about 90cm. Think he is considered tall at his age coz many people told me he is tall. 

Weight:

 12.5kg

Health: 
Overall we had a healthy month until the very end, just this week he came down with a throat infection. Glad that he's all well now! 

Speech: 
Most of the time, he's able to tell me what he wanted. But sometimes when he is 
fussing or doesn't know how to tell me he would speak in his language which I totally have no idea what he's talking about and this will make him very angry and frustrated.

Able to have daily conversation with him... totally in LOVE with this! 

He can differentiate - big and small; Long and short; fast and slow and sometimes tell me in comparisons

He loves to read especially song books and rhyming books - he's able to read part of his Dear Zoo board book...totally amazed!!

He loves to sing his fav songs "No more monkeys jumping on the bed" and "ABC" and many more!

Toys: 
He loves anything to do with animals especially his matching animal puzzle. He will play with it everyday without fail. 
His new interest musician and engineer - playing his drum and making "music" every now and then and repairing furniture and toys using his tools 

Sleeping habits: 

Refuses to nap in school. This has been going on for quite sometime. I don't why! 
But he will nap on a no school day. Funny right? 
When he gets his nap, his bedtime is around 9.30 -10pm
7-7.30pm when he did not nap 
Averagely, he will sleep for about 10-12 hours 

Eating Habits: 

Xavier is not a fussy eater. He eats almost everything!
His fav is his incredible delicious desserts - fruit and veggies green smoothie!
with added supplement- flaxseed or chai seed

I am sure that I am forgetting somethings but this will do for now!!

Kai Jun's 2nd Birthday

Due to the weather, Hubby did not need to work on that day

So, we attended Kai Jun's 2nd birthday party together

Weekends!

Recently we have nothing much to do over the weekends
pretty much because is the Winter season 
the weather was so cold

Last weekend, we had home cooked lunch and a short nap
 before we head out for some errands

Morning playtime... love his silly faces and his new bed hairstyles 
Awww~~ Melt my heart!

Breakfast - hotcakes with maple syrup

Then, brought Xavier to his fav place in Grapevine mill
$2 Carousel ride - glad that papa took the ride with him
looking at it makes me so dizzy already

He will request for coins and try to throw it into the croc's mouth

5 Jan 14 Sunday 

Xavier has been always a huge fan for cheesecake 

soft and fluffy Japanese Cotton Cheesecake for our breakfast

Yummy!!!

After breakfast, Xavier made a request

"mama, I want bear bear cheesecake" 

I was so surprised... this was his FIRST request for me to bake him a cake

Luckily, this was a very easy cake to made 

He stayed in the kitchen and "Supervised" me

He is all about pirates

 He loves to dress up like pirates and run around the house

He knows what pirates say (Yo, Ho, HO) 

and what pirates wear (Bandana, sword and spyglass)

Disney Junior Live On Tour!

We took Xavier to watch Disney Junior Live on Tour! Pirate and Princess Adventure at the Allen Event Center last weekend together with Tham,Quek & Ng Family.

He loves Disney Junior shows and was excited to see some of his favourite characters!
He sat mesmerized during both portion of the show
I just love seeing him swaying to the music. him waving to the characters and clapping
It was so fun watching his enjoyment. 

Before the show start, there was a brief pre-show of Doc McStuffins
