Cooked something special for dinner last weekend


served through internet and got the recipe for


"Fried Hokkien Mee"


This is a very simple dish


everyone out there should give it a try!

Recipe:
Ingredients:
Yellow flat noodles
Vermicelli rice sticks, soak in water to soften
Squid, sliced
Prawns, shells removed
Choy sum cut into section
Pork belly
Fish cake sliced
Chicken stock
Corn starch mixture
Gloves of Garlic
bean sprouts ends removed
Optional - eggs

Seasoning:
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce

Method:

  1. Stir-fried pork belly, prawns, squid, fish cakes and Choy sum with Garlic & set aside
  2. In a pot, cooked the noodle and the vermicelli rice sticks with enough stock to cover it
  3. when the noodle is cooked, add in seasonings, eggs, prawns, squid, pork belly, choy sum & bean sprouts
  4. Let it cook for 1/2 min then slowly stir in the corn starch mixture to thicken the sauce
  5. Done

Didn't know that is so easy!
Took about 45mins to get this done
Am proud of myself LOL!
