Gonna to have potluck gathering @ Agnes House tomorrow
Will be making Asian dessert
Sweetened Bean curb, barley & Ginko nuts

Already started preparing the dessert
Soak the dried beancurb in water to soften it since morning
Then cooked the sago too
Now waiting for hubby to be back with the pandan leaves
(Thanks Angel for giving me some)
Will start cooking at 10pm

Took an hour to cook this dessert .... Kinda long rite cos need to simmer at least 35mins for the barley to be fully cook. I gave a small bowl for hubby to try... everything seems ok.. but don't know why the beancurb is not as soft as what it should be. Anyone can help? is it the type of beancurb that i buy or i did not simmer long enough? Will try to improve...
