7 May Tuesday
On the 3rd and 4th day, we proceeded to Universal Studio Hollywood
While it is smaller than its Orlando sister park there is just as much fun here
But there's not much for kids under 4 years old
Even the studio tour was a little scary for the little ones especially the Jurassic Park and flooding scenes.
Here we are, the "must-shoot" picture
Here we come!
Walking along the Universal city walk… a place all the entertainment, dining & shopping… but… you see not much people right? Yes… still damn early… I think it’s like 10am+ only… and the park just opened only…
As we entered, several interesting mascots were in specific locations to welcome us for photo opportunities
The Minions! Super cute
But xavier was so scared at first... after a few rounds of coaxing, he did a "high five" with the minions at least
Then we settled down to Shrek 4D. Donkey sneezed snot onto our faces, we galloped along on a runaway wagon, Dragon snored into our hair - it was literally AWESOME.
Xavier first experience on 4D... super focus thorough the whole show!
Last ride. Then took the escalators down to lower lot
amazing views of the verdant hills of LA
Transformers: The Ride – 3D
This is one of the highlights and a very popular ride
This is one of the highlights and a very popular ride
kids playing at the Dino play area while waiting for the guys
The Best pic of the day
Our Last ride Studio Tour -We were driven through the working backlots of Universal Studios and the best part was King Kong 360 3D. We were caught in the middle of a terrifying struggle between T-Rex and King Kong.. this is by far the best 3D experience followed by Spiderman
Ended our day with dinner at Tony Roma's
8 May Wednesday
We started our day early at around 9am and was a more relax day
as the guys had already taken most of the rides
HAha! What a funny pic
Taking photo with Mascots
Waving bye bye to spongebob
Hubby and Lewis took the Jurassic Ride... They got a bit wet but overall was fun!
Ended our park adventure with this hilarious jump shot
Oh gosh!
Next, we drove about 15mins to DIN TAI FUNG
Yes! Everyone's so excited (Thanks to Yanwen's friend recommendation)
For a moment, i thought I was back home...
All of us felt so satisfied and happy!
