6 May (Monday)
The second day we headed to Legoland theme park in Carlsbad California. It was amazing to see all the things they created out of Legos. Unfortunately, our poor Xavier, standing at 34" still not tall enough to take all the rides. Most of the rides had a height limit of 36" or 40". However, we still had a fun day.
Started our fantastic day at Corner Bakery Cafe for breakfast
Cheeky boy enjoying his butter corrisant
On our way to theme park, getting ready our admission tickets
Here we come!
Ladies busy checking out the maps
All the "things" made of legos was pretty amazing
Here's velle and Xavier hand in hand together
Sweet!
Constantly amazed at the detail on the sculptures and love seeing them place throughout the park
"Roaring" like a dinosaur
We started off with some cute rides that were perfect for little kids. This was a fairy tale ride made of all legos
At first Xavier was very nervous ... didn't know what to expect!
Love his first boating experience.. super high mode!
Xavier liked shooting these alligators and frogs. It was pretty cute. There were lots of little water feature things that were interactive all throughout the parks
This cool fountain played music. If you jumped on the circle in front of the instrument then it started playing. Xavier was totally fascinated so we played with this for quite awhile
They had this amazing playground for the little kids and we had a hard time pulling xavier away from it LOL!
Kept saying "Choo Choo" while we took the mini train
A walk journey through several parts of the world on a quest to find seven hidden keys
The models inside this attraction were unbelievable!
It's me!
Hubby!
It was really incredible these whole cities that they recreated out of legos
"Mini Land"
Waving to the moving automated bus
Touching a star fish
That ended our day 2 of our trip...
Tomorrow: Universal Studio
Time for all the exciting rides for the guys!!!
