We planned a little family getaway to Las Vegas from the 20th through 23rd of April
Our last road trip in USA before we head back to Singapore
We set off in the morning for our flight to Phoenix and onto Las Vegas
When we arrived at Vegas, picked up our car and head to Chinatown
Got to have early dinner and shopped for drinks and snack
To my surprise, Vegas Chinatown is getting huge, it used to be a small area and now it occupied the whole street
now you can find any kind of authentic Asian cuisine
After our dinner, we walked around a little bit and went to our Hotel (Circus Circus), checked in, got unpacked and rest.
21 April
We started early in the morning for day 2 to visit south rim of Grand Canyon and to stop over at Hoover Dam which was on the way
The weather was perfect! It was hot and at time windy but very dry.
The Dam was huge!
We walked and looked around the dam
It was a nice sightseeing
Memorial bridge that runs over the dam area

This was my 3rd visit to Hoover Dam
Now then realize that the dam is located on the state line of Nevada and Arizona
So I can stand in 2 states at one time in 2 different time zones
Then we continued our 4 hours drive to Grand Canyon

Finally, entering into south rim
Then the Grand Canyon is just that GRAND!
The view was well worth the time spent in the car. All of the colours and the way it is shaped, is just unbelievable and breathtaking.
Had late dinner at PING PANG PONG (top 10 Chinese restaurant in America) located in Gold Coast Hotel...
They served really nice congee...
22 April
Day 3 - Had breakfast at Chinatown, shopped at premium outlet and walked along the strip
Resting and snacking in the hotel before we head out to the strip
My boys acting as giants... faint!
That night, the temperature drop to 25 degree with gusty wind so we didn't get to walk the whole strip
23 April
After our final meal in Las Vegas, we headed to the airport for the long trip home :)
It was a great vacation with the family!
