Thursday was a cold but beautiful day
Took some photos before we head out to the zoo

It's about 25 mins drive from home
we got lost for a few moments and got back on track

we knew we were almost there when we saw our giraffe friend...
We headed straight to Wilds of Africa to take the 20 mins monorail ride
After the ride, we went over to see the swarm of flamingo
Next we check out the Chimpanzee forest and Gorilla Trail
the Zoo has a ton of sculptures and we had fun posing and playing on them
we had our lunch before moving on to Giants of Savanna
Buddy had porridge and we had homemade sandwiches - egg mayo, ham and cheese sandwiches
Our favourite of the day - Lions and Giraffe
How buddy reacted when he saw Lions... Roar!!!!!
Hubby's big camera attracted a young giraffe
so we got real close with it and buddy even got a chance to actually touch it
Next stop- children zoo
to look at more monkeys and other animals
Last stop of the day was suppose to be the carousel
but buddy had already knocked out in his pram
when buddy woke up from nap... he was still in his super happy and high mode :)

We had a great day filled with fun, laughter and happiness
