Day 13 -30.03.13

went kilin court for tim sum with candy and judy

we set off early around 11am to get a table before it gets crowded

After tim sum, we came home.. 
baby refused to nap so I brought him to toysrus and babiesrus to pick up 
a set of 100pcs mega block, which is on sale for $9 
and Mickey mouse clothing, Buy 1 get 1 free 
super good deal!!!

Counting down to DisneyLand Park and legoland in May 2013.... 

As usual, Liyi and baby Ryder came over for dinner 

These few days, Xavier seems to love Ryder didi alot

He will share his toys, cuddle and give little kisses

Day 12

Xavier was playing with his toys and suddenly looked into my eyes and said "mama, poo!"

My cheeky boy really makes my day :)

Day 11

After Lunch, Xavier took a power nap of 3.5 hours 

I took this opportunity to bake some nice cookies
"Sunflower butter cookies with chocolate chips" 
These cookies are reminiscent of everyone's favourite peanut butter cookies, but instead are made with delicious sunflower seed butter
I'm using peanut free sunbutter spread with flaxseed oil
The cookies have a subtle nuttiness and a hint of sunflower seed flavour and the end result is that they taste like very subtle peanut butter cookies

In the evening, brought cheeky boy to gymboree open gym 
He crawl all over and really enjoy himself 
Rocking horse and slide are his favourite 

Day 8 - 11

This week zoom by so fast

Another 25 more days

Hubby will be back..

I now have a daily ritual with my little cheeky boy - we video skype / face time whenever we are free so he can see papa and feel connected to him even when we are on the other side of the world. I love modern technology.

Day 7 - First week ended

Can't believe that the weekend pass so fast, it's Monday again!

I had a great Sunday shopping at Grapevine with Chloe

our shopping trip was totally impromptu

we head out around 10.30am after our boys had their hearty breakfast

and they were surprisingly well behaved throughout

 

We never left the mall emptied handed

I bought H&M clothings for Xavier...

I am totally and completely in love with their clothings

They have a series of jeans suspenders

Super Cute!

But the sizes were out of stock for Xavier

Sian... I going to try another store at Willow Bend

 

Isn't this cute? I can't image my little cheeky boy in this outfit..

We left the mall around 4plus and had dinner with Candy, danny, alvin and Judy

Reached home at 9pm

Xavier was totally knocked out by 9.15pm :)

Day 6 - Gloomy Saturday

It was a gloomy, cold and rainy day here

Temperature was about 9 degrees

Brr...Brr...

I hate raining days as always

Now with Xavier baby, I dislike raining days more because we simply can't go anywhere outdoor and we love being outdoor

Wanted to bring Xavier for a walk in the park but ended we could only stay at home and hear the raindrops so I decided to whip up a simple, quick and delicious dessert for him

"Tofu strawberry smoothie"

On a side note, our upcoming family trip to Los Angeles in May is confirmed. Yippi!

Day 5

Every kids love music

Xavier is not exceptional 

He will rock, arms up and move to the beat 

Sometimes the way he dances really crack us up

So, i decided to try out the Music Class 2 for 16-28 months today

I ended up loving it! Well, I mean, I love the way Xavier interacts in the class.

The kids get to play lots of musical instruments and do little kid dances and rhymes
His trial class today went well, Xavier was a little shy at first and stuck to my leg, but I could tell that he likes the songs and musical instruments

After 5-10mins of warming up, he started to play and interact with other older kids!
So I decided to sign him up for a 3 months program:

Every Tuesday: Play and Learn 4
Every Friday: Music 2
I started taking him there because I felt like he needed to be in some sort of weekly class to start getting used to the concept , because he will be attending a 8 weeks summer camp program this coming June before his 18 months old preschool in August. 

Day 4

After Xavier woke up from his 3 hours power nap

Brought him and baby Ryder to open gym at Gymboree 

This is the time where parents and little ones are able to explore freely

and it is free once sigining up a class with them

Now that Xavier can hustle and bustle around, the open gym is perfect for him

He loves going through the tunnels, slides and playing with the bouncy balls!

Looking at how much he enjoy his playtime, it brings a feeling of peace and contentment to my heart. As a mother, I love it when my baby is happy.

After the fun activities ended, Chloe and I headed home for dinner
Stewed pork & apple and pear soup 
The 2 boys got 2nd round of playtime at my house before their bedtime
That's how we ended our day!!! 
Another 31 days to go!!!!

Day 3

Didn't go anywhere far

Went grocery shopping with Chloe at Hmart

and went leasing office to fetch my package from Target

Hmm, I ordered a pair of high-cut sneaker

The shoe is nice and the colour is so much nicer than I view it online

Going to wear it with shorts..

Day 2

This morning, Xavier woke up around 830am

Let him have his breakfast - milk and oatmeal cereal

then off we went to gymboree class at 10am

Xavier enjoyed himself and he even showed off his dancing skill infront of the class

Everybody cracked up when he started to dance

OMG! Super funny :)

How I wish I could capture that very moment on my camcorder....

After the class, I went over to Babiesrus while waiting for Chloe and baby Ryder to finish their class

I shopped around thinking that I would not spend money 

but I'm wrong!!!!! 

There is a clothing promotion going on
