After our dinner @ Cheddar, we went Walmart. Buddy was in super good mood that day... he was so babbly and kept laughing throughout the car ride!

Sea Life Aquarium @ Grapevine

Monday, 30 July

Hubby was on off so we started our day early at 10am. Went grocery shopping at Hmart and brought mum for a haircut. It cost USD 25 which includes wash and blow. Super ex right?

We unloaded all groceries before we made our way to Grapevine. Thanks, Yanwen for the free tickets! We had a great time especially buddy, he was busy turning his head around to spot the fishes LOL!

The space underneath the tank was so cramped... luckily buddy didn't knock his head

Glass tunnel is very much similar to the underwater world... buddy spotted a sea turtle, it just right above his head!

she was totally amazed to find a man made aquarium inside a shopping mall

this is something you can't find back in Singapore

Candy and I went target again but this time round we had a new company

I'm thankful that the kiddos are so well behave and the mummies get to enjoy ourselves

After 2 days of shopping for toys, these are my 2 best toys.

Original price at $30, after 70% mark down and with a $5 coupon

I paid for $4 each.... Amazing right? I think I will never never get this in Singapore!

Another batch of new toys

Candy & I went to other target store along josey lane and belt line road. The toys are mostly on clearance 75% off. We spent about 2 hours going through each and very aisle just to make sure not to miss any single deals!

Hide and seek

Buddy start to display his own sense of humor and interests.

Everyday, he will do something to surprise or humor us and never fails to crack us up :D

Here's what's been going on in our life:

6 days ago, he will clap along if he hears "If you are happy" song

4 days ago, he gave me 3 kisses on my cheeks

3 days ago, he will raise up his arm when we say "Hooray" (still learning)

1 days ago, he gave 2 kisses to ahma and started to  play hide and seek with his toys

I manage to capture part of the moments on video (Awww~~ when he is searching for his toys)

The sunshade is detachable, it can be easily remove when is not needed

Can you believe it? I blew it up all by myself, almost fainted keke!

The toys were gradually markdown from 30%, 50% and final 70%.

After a long wait, 6 days later... the small little tooth finally break through the gums 
A single tooth smile from buddy is a wonderful sight that we look forward to :D

You probably cannot see clearly the little tooth, but they are the front incisors, just break through of the gums

New toys added to collection

Toys in USA are definitely much cheaper than Singapore. They have frequent sales/ clearances which are 75% mark down which are mostly good brands like leapfrog, little tikes, fisher price, lego etc. I'm slowly stocking up toys for buddy. Toys which are not meant for him to play now... but when he's 3-5 years old!

Thomas and Friends Mega block added to his toy collection. Now selling only at $12. Woohoo!

 

Weekends

Saturday 21 July

Attended Hubby's base gathering at St Marin Pool side in the afternoon (just across the street)

It was a scorching hot day....Nearly 42 degrees
After an hour plus, the weather was unbearable anymore and we had to leave.

Meet up the rest of his section friends for dinner @ Mua sushi (2mins drive)
This was my 2nd visit. The food is nice, portion is big and price is reasonable.
They are having dinner special bento box for every Tuesday and Saturday..
which is 50% off the original price ($19.90)

After dinner, they came over to my house for majong and card games session :)

Sunday 22 July

It's Sunday and that's mean one of my favourite thing is coupon shopping
My favourite store CVS and Target (very much like our spore watson and NTUC finest)
This week there are lots of good deals and some are absolute free after using coupons WooHoo!!! Extremely excited.

First stop CVS paid $4 for:
4 x starbucks refresher
2 x stayfree pad -free
4 x snickers bar -free
2 x honey bunches oat cereal
2 x revlon nail polish

Target paid $12 for:
4 x papermate ball pen (qty 10 each)-free
2 x tank top
2 x graphic t
2 x gummy sweet
2 x yogurt (qty 4 each)

Buddy loves to clap!

Buddy used to clap with his fists closed but a couple of weeks ago he started putting his hands out flat. He'd still let me clap his hands for him - not trying to do it himself but he'd appear to be very proud that his hands were flat so that his palms slapped together and made noise.

This afternoon while sitting in his high chair having his snack, buddy started clapping when he hear us singing nursery songs. Totally umprompted. And he was so proud of himself. Papa and ah ma clapped and praised him- and he kept clapping and gave us a smile.

Milestone - Buddy's First Tooth

Baby teeth usually grow in a fairly specific sequence — usually the top or bottom two incisors are cut first, followed by the other pair that didn’t cut through the surface first.

Buddy cut his first tooth, just poking out of the gums, his bottom right incisor, on 18 July, the day he turned 9mths 1wk old. We have been waiting for these little teeth to grow forever! And it really took some time for it to grow!

Tried taking a photo of his little tooth but it cannot be seen clearly. If we use our fingers to feel it, it is pretty obvious that there is a tooth coming! Will try to take a photo again :)
