Counting Down- 9 more days!

Weekend is over, so fast!

we did not do much on Saturday. Woke up at around 11am, had our breakfast then went walmart to purchase the Sundays paper with coupons. After that, yy came over to our house to print some online coupons and also discussed on the deals for the week. At 5pm, we leave home for the farewell dinner @ Osaka along Plano.

During the dinner, QZ's wife, Vanessa (just came in early Oct) was interested to know how the coupon system works... so along our way home, we brought them to CVS to apply for their cards as well as to check out the prices on the deals we interested. They were amazed on how much they can save!!!! HAHA!

In order to get what we have planned at CVS, we started our coupon shopping at 12 midnight. This was my first time being so Kaisu... HAHA! But I was kinda surprised, many people were already started shopping! In the end, we got what we wanted... very fruitful trip! Also took the season saving booklet with $4 of $20 coupon! But only limited to 1 per household!

Paid $2.83 and received $13 rewards for next week's deal!

Reached home at 2.30am, hubby got a few hours of sleep befor setting off for his deployment at 6.45am. This deployment was divided into 2 phases... hubby was in phase 1 (from 1 till 10 Nov)... and yy was in phase 2... seems a little longer ba! They reached the destination at 12pm and would be residing in a motel with no Internet facilities. Luckily, hubby brought along the hard disk full of dramas and movies...

Today at around 12pm, yy & me went to Walgreen, Target & Walmart to get some good deals!

At Target: Me- Paid $1 buck yy- got 4 boxes of kellogg's cereal for $0.60 each and 2 colgate toothpaste @ $0.50 each

Walgreen: paid $1.50 (returned $2.50 rewards)

Paid - $1.50 each (returned $2 rewards)

Walmart - me: $0.75 for a candle holder and refill; yy- $1.50 for 2 bags of chocolate & $2 for crest battery operated toothbrush.

Another 9 more days... hubby will be back le!
