then I keep nagging at him LOL!

Hubby has to leave for work by 6:30pm

which means he will only gets 7 miserable hours of sleep

So poor thing!

Have been super busy planning for my New York & Canada road trip

we intend to go on 11 Sept and back on the 19 Sept

everything is not confirm yet

cos' hubby's leave application has not approved

hope nothing goes wrong!

Have been serving on the internet for the past few days

Finally, have come up with a brief itinerary

This is wat I have planned so far:

take plane to Newark Liberty Intl Airport then will drive to Niagara Falls Ontario - will stay 3D2nites, Montreal Quebec will stay 2D1N to visit the old Montreal and Famous Oldest catholic Church, next to visit Hershey's Chocolate factory and not forgetting premium Outlet in Philadelphia. Then will drive to Washington DC..which I have planned to explore DC by foot. Lastly, will explore NYC by taking their public transportation.

Will have to get into more details like the air tickets, car rental and hotels etc..

Once i have done that will submit my proposal and recommendation to hubby

Busy weekend!

Had a busy weekend

Hubby is the "IP" for the Ang's family

Saturday: brought them to setup new bank account

and register for cell phone number

Sunday: went scouting for furniture

been to Ikea, Mattress firm, sleep experts, roomstore etc....

They bought a rectangular dining table and study table from Ikea

A super comfortable Simmons mattress from Mattress Firm

At Ikea, we bought a pair of non-slip "Pinky" kitchen slipper for $1.99

& a yellow shower curtain at $5

The Ang's family will be moving into Summit tomorrow. Yeah!

Instead of replacing the car tire, Hubby suggest to go shopping with me

We also went Grapevine F21 to return my stuff and guess wat i bought

I bought 3 dresses..Oh gosh, I just can't resist them... hand itchy lei LOL!

But they are real cheap!

The 2 yellow dresses are $13 each then the turquoise is $19.80

We went grocery shopping at Hmart and had dinner at home..

There are 2 groups of family coming over to USA... hubby have been assigned to fetch them from the Airport on Friday, 9pm. 1 of the family is from the same trade as hubby.. they have 3 little princess... saw them before when in Spore.. their youngest princess has the same name as me "Amelia". LOL!

Hubby do not need to report work tomorrow... which means i do not need to preapre lunch for him too... heehee! So, we had our dinner at Pan Asia .. too lazy to cook liao..

We had a list of task to accomplish tomorrow morning:

(1) Hubby's car front right tire flat le.. so have to get it replace @ sam's club

(2) Haircut for hubby @ supercut

(3) Haircut for me.. @ Hair Mode Salon (located @ Royal Lane) -highly recommend. $25 wash and cut. Call for appt: 972-406-0104 Yuki

if times permit, then will go (3) Grapevine F21 to return my stuff and at the same times see whether got any good deals!!!

Last weekend, bought 1 sundress and 1 top from Forever 21.

After trying at home, don't really like the design so intend to return it.

Today, planning to go grapevine de.. but too bad hubby needs the car.. sian.

Really In Love with F21 clothing... they are really nice and cheap!

Every week, they will have new designs...

It can go as LOW as USD 8.80 Only... can u believe it!

Singapore will never have such "lobang" lor

Hopefully hubby can off work early today...then i can use his car... LOL!

Still prefer to go F21 without hubby cos i will normally take at least an hour to shop.. don't feel good to let him wait that long.. Hee hee..

Plan to cook 2 dishes - chicken and vegetable

(1) Sir - fry chicken with Korean sauce

Usually used boneless thigh cos not so fatty

cut into cube size then marinade with the Korean sauce

Hubby loves the Korean sauce... a little spicy spicy de..

(2) Stir-fry Snow Peas and Cauliflower

Went grocery shopping last weekend happen to walk pass a bunch of snow pea

Hubby ask me: "why u never cook pea for me?"

Not knowing how to respond him. Actually i don't know how to cook them LOL!

To satisfy his craving, just grab a bunch and call mum for SOS..

Hope will turn out well...

Woke up at 6.10am to prepare breakfast for hubby.

Heard thunder but not sure whether is it raining... so check the weather condition through my window.. Finally... it rains!

So happy ... it has been a long time since it rain le!

The temperature in summer is really "HOT" the highest so far is 104F (40 Celsius ) The heat really makes me stay at home most of my time. Hope this rain can help to cool down the heat!

Yahoo weather forecast that there will be thunderstorm on Wed and Thurs. All thanks to the cold front.... hopes the rain will come!!!

Super long time never blog liao LOL! has been busy watching my HK drama, recently just completed ID精英, 仁心解码, 學警狙擊 and 巾帼枭雄.

Meanwhile, watching 烈火雄心3. This is a real exciting drama.

Taiwan Vs HK drama. I used to prefer Taiwan Drama but recently found that the plot of the show is getting more and more boring le...

After watching so many Taiwan dramas.. I will say that 痞子英雄 starring by Vic Zhou & Xiu Jei Kai is the BEST of all..

Meanwhile, dl 2 new drama 福气又安康 and 魔女18号.

Hopefully will be nice.

19 July 2009 (Sunday), is hubby's 31st birthday! Oh gosh, never realise that he so old liao LOL! How time files!

Hubby don't like cake. So funny rite .. birthday with no cake.

Nevermind, so i plan to surprise him with a simple lunch...LOL cos normally i will NOT cook on weekends de..

yesterday, we played majong till 3am so now hubby still sleeping like a pig..HAHA! I woke up super quietly and walk to the kitchen like a thief lor...

It took me 40mins to prepare " Seafood Macaroni Soup" yummy! yummy!

Hope Hubby likes it!

Hubby has been wanting to have a new wallet. So during our trip to Houston, I bought a Gucci wallet for his advance birthday present.

Today, hubby is not working so we went grocery shopping at Korean supermarket. Planning to cook curry chicken and steam snapper for next week.... Hubby loves my chicken curry !!!!!

Next, went Hobby Lobby to check out the 50% discount for scrapbook stickers.. Bought a few travel stickers ... Nice and Cheap!!!!


Thanks Chloe for informing me the $1 clearance at Michaels... So I insisted hubby to drive me there... he agreed even though he is not so willing.. Hahaha... Thanks Hubby!!!!!

On our way to Michaels, we happen to pass by "Secret Recipe" then realise that both of us are hungry le.. so we stopped by to have "Cha Guo Tiao with shrimp" Yummy!!!!

These are all $1 each -- really super duper cheap!!!!

Our yearly furniture lease term is coming to an end soon... hubby and I decided not to continue with it so we are getting our own furniture.

Planning what to buy:

• MBR - a new bed with pillows, movable 3 tier drawers for clothing and a full height mirror
• Living - TV console, Computer desk, Sofa bed, Dining table with 4 chairs
• Miscellaneous - Bose sound system, KTV mike system and a computer chair

With these items in mind, we went for our shopping trip.

Bought a Simmons beautyrest pillowtop mattress from MATTRESS FIRM for $667 - is really comfortable!

Hubby always complain neck pain so we got 2 memory foam pillows $14 each - hubby now better le! From WALMART

3 tier drawers with wheels $16 each for clothings from WALMART

Full height mirror $5 - planning to install at back of closet door -from WALMART

Computer desk $29 - not install yet. from WALMART

TV console $39 from WALMART

Manage to get a good and cheap sofa bed for $300 after coupon rebate, it can be converted from a sofa to a lounger to a bed -from ROOMSTORE

Hubby always wanted to get a bose system in US, found a good deal $679 after 15% discount... retail $899- from BX

We love to sing so we bought this KTV mike online for $20 .. cheap cheap.. retail price $49.90 lor.. From EBAY

We bought most of the items le but still searching for a dining set and a computer chair. Will continue with our shopping over the weekends.

So far, we are planning to bring the bed, sofa, Bose and KTV to Singapore at the end of hubby's detachment. As for the rest of the items. will pass down whoever is coming over.

Have not been blogging for a long time......So just wanna to update on what i have been doing for the past few weeks...

Recently, just took up a hobby - Scrapbooking... u all must be puzzled why i suddenly interested in this....

Cos' one day I was just browsing all my photos then i was realise that it is a waste to shoot photos yet doing nothing with them but just storing them on the computer and not looking at them. On many instances, we may forget the details of the occasion, the people and the issues. So, is great to have scrapbook album to keep the photos but also a way to tell a story behind the photographs. Scrapbooks tend to be oriented towards a specific subject so is good idea to have some sort of a theme - I have selected "Travel" to be my 1st scrapbook theme.

All my scrapbook supplies - scrapbook pattern paper, cardstock and tools!!! will slowly build up my supplies as i do more pages...

Back from Trip

Just came back from my road trip.... very tired....Will upload photos once they are ready....

This coming 24 Jan 09 will be my 8th months in Texas.... time really flies. Thinking back, before coming over with hubby, I am very concern whether I can adapt to a different life style and accept myself being jobless. After 8th months, I am confident to say that i didn't make any wrong choices.

I have gained alot through this 8 months. Hubby & I love traveling so we have decided to travel to as many places as we can before having our commitment being parents. Apart from that, I have also learnt to be independent, careful in my spending and lastly which is the most incredible one is "cooking". I started to love cooking which I used to dislike the most...... can't believe rite? hahahaha... I can't believe it myself too... what i did is to get reference from some cooking website and from there i will creat my own... So far, our 2 favourite local cuisine...these pics always make hubby drool.....hahahaha...
