First Ever Fireworks Experience

On Independence Day, is a time for "Bombs bursting in Air" - fireworks display....

We went to a firework warehouse and bought $400 plus worth of fireworks... can't imagine what will it be like when I light up the First ever firework by myself..... Is super dammed scary loh... the moment it caught fire and started to sparkle I ran for my life liao... Ha ha... It so funny ... I have uploaded some photos and clips.... take a look.... really enjoy this outing....

After 1 hour of drive, we finally reached our Destination - Fireworks Warehouse

Looking forward to our 1st Holiday in US - "4th July Independence Day" celebrates the birthday of the United States of America. Founded July 4th 1776, with the signing of the Declaration of Independence, America is celebrating it's 232nd birthday this year (2008)

1) "Kung Fu Panda"
This was such a cool movie. Funny and had a great message. A must watch for all ages.

2) "The Incredible Hulk"
This one was way better than the first. I like the story line in this one and I love the ending. very good film cant wait for number 2

Just woke up.... went bowling yesterday until 2plus am... so tired.... this time round no aching... used to it liao.... heng ah....

Hubby meeting his friend at 9am... bringing his car to the workshop for a check..... ~so early.....

All my pre-packed boxes will be arriving on thursday.... hopefully everything are still in good condition.... especially our bowling balls.....

First Outing

Today is my first outing with Verlin and her 16mth baby girl, Lovelyn.... she is so adorable.... she keeps talking to me in her baby language... which I don't understand... and I also don't know how to react.... whahaha

We went to Ross and other nearby shops.......nothing much to buy so just window shopping.... Our last stop is at Bath & Body works... they are having 75% off for selected lotions... bought a pear blossom body lotion for USD 2.75 to moisturize my hands... started to feel rough after 3 weeks of house work le... must start to take care from Now!!!

We are planning to go swimming on Friday at another service apartment "St Marine" (2min drive) pool is much bigger than the one in my estate loh... dunno whether is confirm still trying to get a few more wives to join...

Hubby went to work @2pm.... he is on guard duty today... so he will only be back tomorrow at 10am... so sian... have to sleep alone tonight...

Hey everyone! Long time never update my blog le... (feel lazy sometimes ha ha ha).....

Our current Laptop processes super slow not suitable to watch movie online.... bought a new desktop from dell with 22 inch LCD monitor..... Shiok ... watched my 1st movie online "Enchanted" ----- A classic Disney fairytale collides with modern-day New York City in a story about a fairytale princess from the past who is thrust into present-day by an evil queen. Soon after her arrival, Princess Giselle begins to change her views on life and love after meeting a handsome lawyer. Can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world? an unexpected good movie who makes you remember that love it really exist, highly recommended u all to watch

Hubby and I really miss our bowling session, went searching on the net and finally found one bowling centre near to Irving mall (about 20mins drive). On Friday, we gathered a few friends and make our way there.... so happy.... The charges are much more expensive than Singapore... Mon to Thursday, it cost USD3.50 per game... OMG... is dammed expensive loh...only Friday nite.. they charge USD 15 for a 3hours game... to make our $$$ worthwhile, each of us play 8 games continuously.... OMG... is so tired..... The next day, my butt and right hand all aching loh ....

After our game, we went to Waffle House for Supper.... I ordered a chocolate chip pancake...it so nice but very sinful.... Hubby and the rest ordered a breakfast set meal.....




On Sat & Sun, we went for car hunting.... we got a good deal ... we bought Acura 3.2 TL @ USD5,800 really in good condition and is so powerful... ha ha ha.... never drove such a big car with a sunroof before.... ha ha ha really excited....



All the newcomers are on official off today, all of us went to the naval base to do our military ID... aka Identity Card for army personnel... with this card, I will be able to get privilege or discounts for my shopping spree....

~ Went to buy groceries @ Korean Mart located at Carrollton (about 15 mins drive). Bought 2 slices of salmon and chicken drums --- decided to grill salmon and roast chicken with bacon .... (got the recipes from the website... hope is nice!!!)

~ Hubby's friend brought us to a shopping mall near to the Dallas Airport "Grapevine Mills"... is so big.... we spent 3-4 hours at the mall.. Hubby wanted to buy a pair of sport shoe so we went searching for one... happened to pass by the shop outlet "Brand Shoes"- they have nike, adidas, sketches, new balance, timberland etc.... Hubby tried many many pairs ... finally decied to buy new balance (red, grey & black his favourite colour). For me, I bought a pair of sunglass... hee hee...

~ Dinner time!! we went to "Wing -Stop" - is a place where they only sell chicken wings marinate in different flavours. We ordered 30 pieces (5 pieces atomic flavour - this is a must try flavour, the hottest amongst all... ) It is really super spicy... i can't even finish one... Hubby managed to finish 2 .... by the time he is already sweating and having running nose... I took a photo of him... his face is so red so poor thing.....

~after that we went home............

~ Woke up 12pm .... went out with Hubby's friend to have pizza buffet... very cheap only USD 4.99 per person with free flow of drinks... At 3pm, we went to "Galeria Dallas Mall" this is a more high end mall - consist of coach, LV, banana republic etc... went in to Coach... it has all the latest designs... found the model which my sis (style no: 41206 -pink) and friend (style no: 11839-white) interested.... so ask the sales person to get me a new one.... my friend's bag only left 6 pieces in their warehouse heng i buy first or else no more liao.... To pamper myself, i also bought a coach wallet (style no: 41058- white)... (die... liao keep spending $$$)-- The retail outlet don't have a new piece for my wallet and my friend's bag... so have order and free shipping to my house by this friday....

~ hubby's friend invited us to his house for dinner... he cooked chicken curry for us... long time never eat curry liao.. really miss the taste.... after that went home and is my turn to cook for hubby's tomorrow lunch....
