Happy Halloween, everyone!!! 

This year was our first time went trick or treating.. Super excited!

We all got dressed up and took some photos before we headed out to a nearby neighbourhood

hubby didn't expect can join in the fun with us

actually wanted to buy a matching costume but I doubt he will wear it HAHA! 

so just bought a digital frantic eyeball shirt from party city

He did really well walking up to the houses and holding out his bucket

grabbing a piece of candy. He was pretty darn cute!

He was comfortable enough to say Happy Halloween and by the end of the night

he was saying "trick or treat' like a pro! :)

Went to about 10-15 houses around the neighbourhood before we packed up and made our way home

 

Before we left, took some photos of the most popular big spider house

Their decorations were so awesome!

Overall it was a fun Halloween.  

Halloween Dressed Up Day At school

Xavier's school is celebrating God's Fall Harvest on Thursday 

and all of the students were requested to dress-up in their 

non- scary Halloween costumes to school 

His school invited the parents to come earlier to celebrate together  

and I was there to watch and take photos.

ADORABLE!!! So much fun to see all the kids dressed up and having fun...

Xavier was a pirate!!

2 Years old well check

On Monday afternoon we woke up early from nap and got ready for

Xavier's 2 years old well check at the pediatrician  

 

Our appointment was supposed to be 2.15pm

but we waited till 2.45pm

WTH~~~~

 

The nurses took Xavier's weight and height and was asked to change

 into a little yellow robe for easy assessment

I had to snap a few pictures of him.. just looked too cute!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here are his stats:

Weight: 11.9kg

Height: 88cm

He also passed his development test which made this teacher mama very proud :)

 

And then the scary part came.........

 

Time to get blood drawn for the lead test

and one shot for the flu vaccine

 

Heat pack on his little finger for 5 mins

purpose was for the blood vessels to react to heat and increase the blood flow

too me... it seems useless...

 

the nurse was so unprofessional, pricked Xavier's little finger for 3times and didn't get the blood flowing! OMG!! Was asked to leave and reschedule another appointment! WTH

Super pissed about the whole process

 

Xavier remained calm and did not cry at all during the whole saga

Happy 6th wedding anniversary

Happy 6th wedding anniversary to me and my hubby Kelvin!!!

It's been 6 years of married life and our love for each other 

has blessed us a wonderful child  and a life I couldn't ask for anything anymore

Like most couples, we have been through a lot of ups and downs 

His strength has helped to guide me through some very difficult times 

Thank you for that and for always being there for me 

Looking forward to spending many more years of my life with you

Our FIRST Pumpkin Patch

Monday we took Xavier to the nearest pumpkin patch in Flower Mound for some pumpkin fun and family time. We've have been reading board books about pumpkin and fall and he always walks up and pats the pumpkin outside the grocery stores so I knew he'd be excited to see a whole field of orange wonderfulness.  

 

When we were driving up Xavier shouted "PUMPKINS!" I love the sight of all that beautiful orange goodness.

 

 

The cartoon cut outs were way more fun for him since he's actually seen some of the movies and shows

We got lucky and had perfect weather

How awesome is it that we live in a place where kids can run around in a field of pumpkins? We are so blessed.

Xavier's FIRST Trip to the hair salon

That's right!

Up until yesterday Xavier had never had an "official" haircut at an actual salon here in USA

Either Hubby or myself have been cutting his hair

so far, it had been very poorly trimmed

very lack of hair cutting skills

 

So, we decided to go to a kid's salon, which turned out to be fun!

 

BEFORE

His hair had gotten out of control as you can see

 

 

He was a little nervous at first

but he held perfectly still

 

AFTER

 

Its SHORT! But it looks good

He was happy afterwards and had a blast at the kid's play corner
