2 days staycation @ RWS

6-8 June 

We took a unplanned 3D2N staycation at Festive Hotel in RWS Sentosa

(thanks sis and BIL for the free hotel stay)

We had such a great time there

First checked in to our family room - comes with a loft bed, King bed and a foldable sofa bed. It's so cool have a loft bed within a hotel room but the ladder is kind of steep and dangerous to me. So, Xavier is band from going up without supervision..
End up papa sleeping in the cozy loft bed, Xavier slept with me on the sofa bed..

We woke up early the next morning and went for a dip in festive pool
It has a lap pool, a baby wading pool and a waterplay area for children

Had lunch and walked around 

After nap, we went back to sis place to get extra clothing
and brought along his $2 sandbox from Daiso
 having fun at the sand pit

Last day before we check out the hotel 

 we went over to the sandy beach pool at Hard Rock Hotel

the artificial beach was pack with kids so we didnt play much

It's quite enjoyable having a staycation once in a while. Looking forward to our next one! And i think every family should do this at least once, although you are staying in Singapore already. Just slacking and chatting in the hotel room can be quite awesome! Great family bonding too :)

On the side note: 

I have gotten the job that I wanted after last Friday interview. I will be working as a marketing executive at Tampines One mall..... so so near to my house.. super happy!
Starting work next Monday, 16 June... so looking forward!

Updates

It's been 3 weeks since we returned to Singapore 

we are adapting well to the new environment 

except that the weather is really too hot and humid 

and the malls are always so crowded

Updates: 

# Xavier seems to eat more in Singapore, think he prefers asian food

# Xavier is getting a lot more attention from grandparents and he's loving it

# He's still trying to adapt to the new school..he tends to get emotional in the morning when I drop him off...Hope he can get used to it soon

# Xavier loves taking bus and MRT...

# my tenant handover my flat recently and it will undergo some minor renovations before we move back 

# Bought a 2nd hand car, honda Jess, although is small but as long as it can bring us to the places we want we are happy with it 

# As for me, I am job hunting now... just went for an interview this morning for a position that I always wanted... and I believe that I did well for the interview so I really hope I can get the job.... Praying hard!!!

Find happiness in the simplest of things 

like having a piece of bread

Having a bunch of grapes after lunch

The coin rides in Singapore are so much better than in USA
