Xavier's First Progress Report

Last week, we received our first-ever progress report for Xavier! This was one of those exciting "mom" moments for me. I know this is only Preschool, but there is just something 'official' about a progress report. I am so glade that he's doing well  

Great job Xavier!! we are proud of your accomplishments so far this year!

Our First Bluebonnets Adventure!

Guess what is sprouting all over the place... 
It's the official Texas State flower and they only bloom for a short time in Spring, usually in April - Bluebonnets!!!

After lunch, we drove about an hour to Ennis bluebonnet trails
We were so excited to get to see the bluebonnets for the first time and take pictures together with my family in the beautiful blue pastures
It was AWESOME!

Here are the pictures we took while on our sight seeing adventure: 

SOUTH TRAIL

Found a field fill with small yellow wildflowers

Found another nice pasture on a sloppy hill

I am loving the Spring Weather! cool and v windy 
Can tell from our messy hair LOL

As we continued on the trail, we spotted a few farms/ranches

There was a herd of cows, we moo moo a few times and they all started to turn and look at us..( u can zoom the pic)... very threatening LOL!

Made a U turn and headed towards the NORTH Trail

Drove past a ranch and Xavier requested to pat the horses

After a long drive, finally found a non fence up area with a petticoat of bluebonnets and colourful wildflowers

We'll be back to Singapore 

can't wait to see our family, a fresh new look for our house and to meet up friends 

I spent most of my time packing, packing and packing

I never knew I have so much stuff and I even dug out those that are long buried alive

Now I am packing my box no: 48 

a few more boxes and I am done... finally! 

On a side note: We have sold our Infinite G35 Coupe... goodbye Mr Red... 

U have served us well! 

Xavier 30 months old

Xavier is 6 months away from being 3 years old. I can't believe in 6 months I will say that I have a 3 year old and we'll be celebrating his 3rd birthday. He's growing and changing everyday. I have enjoyed these 30 months with him so so much! He's such a joy to be around. These last few months he has become so brassy but he can be super sweet and funny when he wants to be!  Stay happy and healthy always! ♥♥♥♥♥ U!!!!

Looking forward to our little getaway

We are less than a week away till we leave for our family road trip to Las Vegas (20 - 23 April 2014). The excitement is brewing in our home as we are all looking forward to going.

Our Day Out with Thomas 2014

We took Xavier to a day out with Thomas at the Vintage Railroad in Grapevine last Saturday

Despite the grey clouds, cold weather and a few sprinkles here and there, 

we still had fun!

As we arrived, we were greeted by Thomas who were awaiting for his next passengers

There were so many fun activities for children:

Bubble machine - love popping all the bubbles

Went to a short tour in the historical Museum 

A tent full of train tables and building activities

Model Trains

Here comes Thomas 

First play in a giant sandbox
Didn't expect him to love playing sand so much...

A mini petting zoo - bunnies, goats, ducks and chickens

Xavier loves it and spent most of the time there

 I'm happy that he's not fearful of animals

He was so gentle and carefully stroking it over it's neck

WHEW! What a wonderful day! xavier was out before we pulled out of Grapevine!
