It is so fun having family members to visit us!

Xavier definitely remembered them. (He was 12 months old when they left USA)
When Xavier saw them at the airport, the look on his face was puzzled and amazed like, 
"You? Here?"
Xavier seemed a little shy at first but now he is loving the extra attention
and did not take him long at all to warm up to them

Brother-in-law was in Dallas for this past weekend
we spent our time eating, shopping and enjoying the awesome weather
All of us had a great time :)

Bought him to see reptile in Petsmart

Who doesn't like to paint? 
Most kids love to paint and Xavier is no exception
It's an inexpensive activity and he has lots of fun!

school picture day

Last month, Xavier just had his first picture day in school
dressed him up in his cutest little outfit with a knitted vest and a bow tie
and the pictures turned out really well 
I'm pretty happy with his smile, especially considering this was his first school picture

29 Months old

Xavier is 29 months and 1 week old today. He's just as happy, busy and active as ever! My baby boy is growing up way too fast. Has it really been 29 months since he barged into our life? 

Xavier is speaking with confidence and he talks all the time these days!!With all this talking, he says the most hilarious things and always crack us up. 

Funny things Xavier says/does at 29 months: 

- when we request him to do things, he will tell us "Yes, boss" or "Yes, mom"

- he will say "Xavier is angry don't want to play" when I scold him

- He makes up song sometimes 

- When he sees something that he likes, he will say "I love it"

-Whenever he goes potty, he will tell me "Boys wear briefs, girls wear panties"

-understand the concept of linking words "also" and "too" Papa also wear brief

- he will say "Ready Set go" when traffic light change from red to green

-He loves to do somersaults on our mattress
-he loves to say "copy cat" when we follow what he is doing

He is the biggest joy of our lives and we are so eternally grateful for him.

We took this opportunity to try out the kissing experiment with Xavier to see his reaction

I don't think he's jealous of papa... he just want to follow what he's doing... fun experience!

Dallas Zoo 2014

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the zoo with our friends 
Meiling and Evelyn. The Kids love the the zoo and they had tons of fun. 

The Dallas zoo offers discounted $5 admission during January and February and kids 3 and under are always free. And we were blessed with some gorgeous weather that day

Started our Zoo adventure from Wild Life Africa - I like Most!

They are 3 months apart but Jeraldine is so much taller than Xavier

Next, went over to Gorilla Trail

This was where we got the highlight of the day

Lots of kids and parents were standing at the glass panels wanting to get a glimpse of the
Muscular animal friend Gorilla. He was standing back facing us until he decided to put a scare by turning, running and banging on the glass for a few times
Everyone was caught by surprised and some of the kid were crying
I am sure he did not mean anything by it maybe was just feeling tired of feeling cooped up or playing with the kids
Xavier and Jeraldine were there went this happened and until today they still have vivid memory and narrate to us what had happened  

We ended our day at the children's zoo/ petting zoo
Xavier had a fun ride on the pony and petting every single goat 
Too bad! The photos and video were corrupted... :(
